Biography
As a managing partner and founder of the firm, David Havins has been a practicing attorney for over 30 years and has extensive litigation and business experience in representing thousands of clients with complex legal issues and factual scenarios.
Havins was recently recognized by the American Trial Lawyer’s Association as a “trial leader by his excellence in advocacy, extraordinary professional achievements and unparalleled commitment to the trial bar and the people it serves.”
He developed creative strategies from his life experiences in athletics, academics and business, applying leadership talents in his legal practice and community.
Havins focuses his practice on personal injury, automobile accidents and injuries, wrongful death, immigration, civil litigation and general business litigation.
A native Texan, Havins graduated from Texas Tech University and received his law degree from the South Texas College of Law. He is licensed to practice in Texas and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.
